DAS polishing pads
Use the Sonus DAS Orange Foam Pad to remove swirl marks, light scratches, water spots and medium oxidation. This foam pad works great with Einszett Ultra Polish and Autoglym Paint Renovator. This pad is not as aggressive as most yellow cutting pads, yet it achieves 90% of the work without dulling the clearcoat finish. Follow the Sonüs DAS Orange Foam Pad should always be followed with the DAS Green Foam Pad and a finishing polish.
Clearcoat safe! For use on all dual-action (orbital) and rotary buffers with a 5" backing plate.
Sonus DAS Green Foam Pad is to be used on clear coats to remove minor swirl marks and light oxidation. The Green pad works great with most "swirl-remover" polish formulas. Used as directed, it will restore gloss lost due to low maintenance or extreme environmental conditions. To remove heavy oxidation, excessive swirl marks and minor scratches, first use the Sonus DAS Orange Foam Pad with a paint cleaner.
Single 7" foam pad. Fits all 5" Velcro backing plates.
The Sonus DAS Blue Foam Pad is to be used on clear coats for final gloss polishing and pre-wax cleaning. When used with a pre-wax cleaner or fine polish, such as Sonüs Paintwork Cleanser, it will improve overall gloss, but it will not remove paint defects.
This pad works great with Sonus Paintwork Cleanser, Klasse All-In-One and TPCL Paintwork Cleanser.
Use the Sonus DAS Blue Foam Pad to apply liquid waxes and sealants, too. The silky-smooth texture of the blue foam applies a thin, even coating of wax or sealant protection.

The Sonüs SwirlBuster™ Foam Polishing Pad is a revolutionary new polishing pad that works with the Sonüs SwirlBuster™ Clearcoat Polish to safely and effectively remove swirl marks and other minor paint defects.
The SwirlBuster™ Foam Polishing Pad is constructed from the same Swisstex foam used by Mercedes-Benz and other European car makers to remove paint defects on the assembly line.
Sonüs improved on the standard Swisstex OEM pad in two significant ways:
- 1. The SwirlBuster™ is 30% thicker! This is important for use with a dual-action polisher, as pressure is required to work the polish. A thin pad will “bottom out”, causing hot spots.
- 2. Innovative “Polishing Pocket” grooves. The Polishing Pocket cut in the face of the pad allows the pad to be loaded with polish and prevents splatter. As you apply pressure to the pad, polish in the Polishing Pocket is applied to the surface.
- The foam, pad dimensions and Polishing Pocket all come together to annihilate swirl marks!
